JAMES LIKENESS

Creative Director / Graphic Designer

With over 20 years of experience in Creative Direction and design including print, apparel, social media, magazine, web, advertising, editorial, branding and music packaging design, James thrives in environments that value meticulous detail, visual storytelling, and fostering creative collaboration. His passion lies in crafting impactful and memorable brand experiences across all platforms and mediums.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Florida State University, James co-founded the band Copeland, playing the bass guitar and filling the role of resident designer. James decided to focus on expanding his design career after six years of traveling the world on tour and spent the next few years working for a Santa Monica record label and a Tampa magazine and design firm. Eventually stepping into the role of Creative Director for mental health non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms, he has shaped the entire visual strategy of the company for more than 15 years.
